About one thousand users of Uber taxi online service consider that their accounts were hacked by Russian hackers, ET reports quoting The Times.
“More than 800 U.S. and UK citizens complained that they received bills in rubles for ride in Moscow and St. Petersburg, which they did not order”, according to the message.
The Times also reports that the number of hacked account may increase.
Reportedly, in 2016, the hackers stole data of 57 million of Uber users. The Company hid the fact of data theft and paid hackers 100 ths dollars for deleting the information.
