On Monday, Volkswagen AG stated that within the next several months it will open three new plants for its joint venture FAW-Volkswagen in China, Prime reports.
New enterprises will be located in Qingdao, Tianjin and Foshan. These plants will produce SUVs, CUVs and electric cars.
“The sale reached record in Q1. Now, the company anticipates the passenger car market growth by 4-5% this year”, Jochem Heinzmann, CEO of Volkswagen China, noted.
He added that the Chinese market continues to grow quickly.
