According to the sociological poll, 54% of U.S. citizens approved the proposal of Donald Trump on conducting another meeting with Vladimir Putin in Washington.
More than half of U.S. citizens consider that it is necessary to conduct a new meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and President of Russia Vladimir Putin, The Hill reports, quoting the survey, conducted by HarrisX, Correspondent.net reports.
It is noted that 54% of surveyed approved Trump’s proposal on conducting one more meeting with Putin in Washington. 46% of respondents negatively appraised this initiative.
The most part of Americans (61%) considers that the improvement of relationships with Russian side will be good for U.S.
It should be reminded that the meeting of presidents of Russia and U.S. was held on July 16 in Helsinki. Putin and Trump talked face-to-face for over two hours as well as participated in the negotiations with expanded membership. Trump invited Putin to arrive to U.S. in autumn.
