The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump plans to offer imposition of 25% tariffs on the import of goods and services from China for $200 bln.
U.S. authorities intend to impose 25-percent tariffs on the import of Chinese goods and services for $200 bln, Bloomberg reports.
Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump planned to impose 10% tariffs on the extended list of Chinese goods and services; however, the White House deemed such measures insufficient.
It should be reminded that in July, U.S. imposed tariffs at 25%, totaling 50 bln dollars, on the import of some Chinese goods. Later, China imposed retaliatory measures, raising tariffs on 659 U.S. goods to 25%.
In this connection, China started the trial in the World Trade Organization. And Trump threatened to impose tariffs on the import of all Chinese goods if required.
