During the plenary session on Wednesday, the Verkhovna Rada managed to approve only one resolution.
Speaker Andrei Parubii closed the session earlier – at about 1:30 pm, while it had to last until 2:00 pm, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
There were not enough votes for approving decisions in the hall.
The people’s deputies approved only one resolution – on holding the all-Ukrainian Unity Relay on the occasion of 100 Anniversary of Proclaiming Act of Unity of UPR and WUPR.
In the meantime, the parliamentarians discussed, but they did not have enough votes for approving two other draft resolutions on holding the hearings.
The Speaker put on preferential vote the draft law on ratification of international agreements, which did not score 226 minimum required votes; that is why Parubii did not put them on vote.
