Organizations shall get the status of foreign agents
Ministry of Justice of Ukraine reported that NGOs, as well as units of foreign NGOs funded from abroad must register as foreign agents to 22 of April 2014. In addition, all companies must change the name in accordance with the new requirements. So, the name of all these NGOs must contain the phrase "public association, which acts as a foreign agent".
Subsequently, all of which are financed from abroad will be required to provide information to the relevant authorities about the directors, the amount of money received from foreign partners and planned expenditure. Moreover, at the end of each quarter NGOs should publish a report on its activities in the newspapers "Holos Ukraini" or "Uriadovyi Kurier".
In the event that the company does not make edits to documents and is not registered during this period, registration service can file a lawsuit to terminate the activities of public associations.
