Also last year 5 million UAH of environmental tax was paid
Last year the budget has received almost 440 million UAH of payments from environmental tax for the disposal of vehicles, the press service of Minrevenue says.
According to statistics of the department, a significant portion of revenue, namely 430 million UAH are the revenues from «utilization fee» when importing vehicles.
Another 5 million are received from the payment of environmental tax when selling in the domestic market of Ukraine the transport, which was produced in the customs territory of Ukraine.
Let’s recall that last year a number of changes to the Tax Code were implemented to ensure timely disposal vehicles withdrawn from service, developed with respect to taxation of imported vehicles into the customs territory of the state.
Under the law, from 1 of September 2013 citizens engaged in import, manufacturing and purchase of vehicles and car bodies for them, have to pay an environmental tax for the further utilization of transport.
