The decision has been passed already
The government has made a decision on giving an access to municipal general plans to the public, and to commission the relevant executive bodies to empower the territorial communities and local councils through giving an access to this information, Vice Prime-Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing & Utility Vladimir Groisman said at a briefing recapping on what was agreed at the government meeting.
« For quite a number of years this data from the land registry was regarded to be information with a restricted access, there was nobody interested in its disclosure before, when it was revealed only to in-crowd members. Today all government bodies are obliged to give territorial communities, city, oblast and village councils a free access to the general plans, which allow all citizens to get the information about land resources one or other community possesses», - he said.
According to Mr.Groisman, the decision made by the government enables bringing any land relations out of the shadow.
The Minister cited the provisions of the draft bill passed by the government concerning transfer of authority from the State Architecture and Construction Inspectorate to the territorial communities.
«These two decisions will facilitate further exploration of territories and ensure construction and land relations publicity», - the Vice Prime-Minister underscored.
