Piotr Poroshenko accepts resignation
President of Ukraine Piotr Poroshenko has signed an executive order for resignation of Andry Paruby from the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, the press-office of the Presidential Administration reports.
The President has expressed Andry Paruby his gratitude and appreciation for good work having highly valued his contribution as Secretary of the NSDCU in the worst fate the country has been facing.
Piotr Poroshenko said he had never dealt with such extreme situations in the country and extraordinary external circumstances, while holding office as Secretary of the NSDCU. «Every day Andry Paruby as Secretary of the NSDCU was devoted to reinforcing the country’s defence capabilities», - the President underscored.
The chief of the state accentuated Andry Paruby is a committed statesperson and will stay in the Ukrainian officeholder team.
Andry Paruby has refused to comment on his resignation having said he will keep on supporting the front, first of all, responding to the needs of the volunteer squadrons.
