Optimization schemes help companies evade taxes by legal means
German Budget loses about € 90 billion of tax payments per year, says the report of the German Institute for Economic Research (Deutsches Institut fuer Wirtschaftsforschung).
As experts Institute's explain, this is due to a variety of optimization schemes used by companies.
Income tax in Germany (for large companies) is 30% (38% from 2001 to 2008), and through various schemes, businesses pay an average of 21%. So the budget loses huge amounts.
