The corresponding draft law has been registered in the parliament, RBC-Ukraine reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine proposes the Verkhovna Rada to envisage the mandatory conclusion of the employment contract between the employer and domestic worker. The corresponding draft law №3734 was registered in the Parliament on December 28, 2015.
Thus, the draft law stipulates that the domestic work is aimed at housekeeping and performed by the person at the age of 16 based on the employment contract more than 80 hours per month.
Thus, the specifics of regulation of domestic work are proposed to be specified in the contractual terms, while the guarantees of employment, rest time, labor remuneration, labor protection, women’s labor, child labor, disabled labor, are provided within the procedure, stipulated by labor legislation.
The employment contract proposes to fix that the 1-month probation period may be specified for domestic worker at the age of 18. The employment contract can be terminated at any time upon consent of the parties if the warning about this was furnished not less than 2 weeks earlier.
It is noted that domestic workers are included into the list of persons, having the right for free will payment of the unified social tax.
It should be reminded that the draft law on creation of the National Employment Agency will be introduced to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the beginning of 2016, said the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Pavlo Rosenko.
