Glusco Energy S. A. has acquired the gas station chain.
The Russian company “Rosneft” has decided to sell its chain of gas stations in Ukraine to the Swiss Glusco Energy S. A., as it is reported by OilNews, quoting the source in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, to which the Swiss company has submitted the application, RBC-Ukraine reports.
“The application was submitted on January 4, the buyer - Glusco Energy S.A., Switzerland,” – said the AMCU representative under confidentiality terms, not informing other details.
According to OilNews, Glusco Energy S.A. belongs to the group of companies Proton Energy Group S.A. (Switzerland) – well-known oil and oil product trader on the market. In Ukraine the activities of the company are based on supplies of diesel fuel through sea ports.
As the edition notes, they still do not have any comments from Glusco Energy and Proton Energy.
Gas station chain “Rosneft” in Ukraine belongs to “Vostok” LLC and has 141 facilities in 12 regions of Ukraine, operating under trademarks Formula, TNK, “Golden Cheetah”, “Smile”. The signs, that Rosneft is going to sell its business, appeared in autumn, when the company started downsizing massively, and the remaining staff was furloughed.
It should be reminded that the Head of Strategic Development Department Kshishtof Zilitski resigned from “Rosneft”.
