People’s deputies have submitted representation in court that will slow down the process for adopting decisions.
People’s deputies have decided to slow down the process of submission of amendments to the Constitution, Корреспондент.net reports on its site.
In particular, the process will be slowed down, as the representation from 51 people’s deputies was submitted to the Constitutional Court with requirement to explain voting on amendments to the Constitution in terms of decentralization.
Parliamentarians ask the court to explain the regulation on the fact that three hundred votes “for” are gathered “at the next regular session of the Verkhovna Rada”.
It should be noted that the algorithm of amendments to the Constitution is the following: simple majority in 226 – approval – 300 and more “for”. Meanwhile, the first and second voting – as it was considered till today – should be taken during two previous sessions in a row.
However, currently deputies have doubted it. The word “regular” provoked discussion in deputy corps.
