The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine can also include the draft law on special confiscation in the agenda.
Today, on March 17, 2016, during the plenary session in the first reading, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider a range of economic and financial draft laws, as it is said in the agenda of the Ukrainian parliament.
In particular, within the scope of questions of economic development the people’s deputies will consider the cancellation of obligatory state registration of foreign investments; amendments to the Law On Protection of National Commodity Producer from Subsidized Imports; strengthening of responsibility of officials of controlling bodies; amendments to the Law On Licensing of Certain Types of Business Activities” (regarding ensuring effective functioning of licensing system); reduction of administrative load on business entities; enhancement of efficiency of bankruptcy procedures; draft law on restructuring debts of the individual and declaring him insolvent. In the second reading it is planned to consider the draft law on specifics of implementation of measures of public oversight (control) in the sphere of business activities and on stimulation of creation and activities of family farming enterprises.
In addition, within the scope of questions of the reform of financial sector the Rada will consider the limitation of revisions in the sphere of business activities in the first reading; the draft law on financial restructuring; amendments to the legislation on regulated markets and derivatives; the draft law on insurance. In the second reading the people’s deputies will consider amendments to the legislation on improvement of regulations on thr judicial protection and persons without citizenships and regulation of separate questions, related to counteraction of illegal migration.
The Rada can also include the consideration of the draft law № 4057 on the introduction of amendments to the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine regarding the specifics of forfeiture to the state of cash funds, currency valuables, state bonds of Ukraine, treasury bonds of Ukraine, precious metals and/or gems, other valuables and proceeds from them prior to the pronouncement of sentence (special confiscation).
