The document is intended for strengthening bilateral trading relations.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified the agreement with Germany on the creation of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The relevant draft law №0092 was endorsed by 238 deputies of the Verkhovna Rada.
Thus, the draft law “On Ratification of Agreement between Government of Ukraine and Government of Federal Republic of Germany on the Creation of the German and Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry” stipulates the fulfilment of intrastate procedures, necessary for coming into force of the specified Agreement.
The agreement was completed on October 23, 2015. The document is aimed at strengthening bilateral trading relations, at formalization of acknowledgment of Ukraine as the important trading partner of Germany and at development of promising directions of bilateral cooperation.
“The Parties hereby agree to establish bilateral German and Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kyiv, which will replace the Bureau of Delegate of German Economy”, as the explanatory note says.
It is emphasized that the implementation of law will not require additional financial and other material costs from state budget.
It should be reminded that in October 2015 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the decision on signing the agreement on the creation of German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
