The acting President of Ukraine is not under NAB investigation.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NAB) of Ukraine will not prosecute cases on the offshores of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, press-secretary of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Svitlana Olifir said in the interview to 24 Channel, RBC-Ukraine reports.
“The acting President of Ukraine is not subject to NAB investigation… there is a separate procedure of impeachment, stipulated in Constitution… We do not have any right to conduct investigation against the acting President of Ukraine”, - Olifir emphasized.
It should be reminded that it was previously informed that yesterday, on April 3, 2016, mass media showed a film “State level offshores”, which consists of three cycles, one of which is dedicated to President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko – “The Double Life of the President”. The program, in particular, says that Poroshenko did not transfer his assets to trust, as he previously claimed. In the meantime he started to restructure Roshen assets via creating three offshore companies.
