Ensuring transparent conditions for operating agricultural business in Ukraine became the main topic for consideration at the round table session with participation of SFS First Deputy Chairman Serhei Bilan and commodity producers of agricultural products of Cherkassy, Vinnytsia, Zhytomir and Kirovohrad regions, which took place in Uman, Cherkassy region.

The participants of the meeting discussed the specifics of taxation of agricultural enterprises, the ways of improvement of relationships between entrepreneurs and power authorities and problematic issues, which arise for this market participants.

SFS First Deputy Chairman Serhei Bilan, in particular, noted that the fiscal service speaks out for equal terms of running business for all business entities and provides support to bona fide taxpayers.

“The special attention is paid to risk payers, exposure of schemes and machinations, which they use in their activities. We adhere to the principle that the tax service should be invisible for a bona fide payer. In addition, currently there is an electronic declaration: if you have submitted all necessary reports, you have paid all the taxes, then you’ll have no problems with oversight bodies”, Serhei Bilan noted.

In addition, he emphasized the importance of SFS cooperation with agricultural sector representatives on supporting development of agricultural production in Ukraine.

In their turn, the agricultural business representatives remarked the efficiency of the candid dialog of authorities and business for ensuring balance of interests of the state and entrepreneurs as well as positive dynamics in solving issues on VAT refund to agricultural producers.

Serhei Bilan also informed the attendees that the management board of the fiscal service gives much attention to the dialogue with the representatives of different sphere of economy. For this SFS created 7 industry associations on different types of industry, with representatives of which the regular meetings are being conducted for discussing actual questions.

At the end of the meeting the SFS First Deputy Chairman encouraged all attendees to actively work on developing proposals to tax legislation in regard to taxation of the agricultural market, which would meet the state needs and stimulate the industry development.
