Ukraine will attempt to withdraw from several agreements within CIS with minimal casualties for Ukrainians, which Ukraine does not need, Director-General of Directorate General of Policy and Communications of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksii Makeev said in “Freedom of Speech”, Ukrinform reports.
“Our efforts are aimed at withdrawing with good grace, but with minimal casualties for Ukrainians, from those agreements, which are not needed, and, possibly, saving mechanisms, which are needed, for example, on pension benefits”, he said.
Makeev noted that only those agreements, which “will work for Ukraine”, will remain valid.
“This means not to pay fees, not to participate in taking some decisions, which do not touch upon the interests of Ukraine and Ukrainians. This will leave valid only those agreements, which work for Ukraine”, he added.
