The peoples’ deputy made a scene at the session of parliamentary committee for national security and defense.
During the session of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada for National Security and Defense People’s Deputy from Batkivshchyna made a scene. Then she left the committee’s session, virtually disrupting the quorum for consideration of some important issues, Correspondent reports.
According to committee’s members, Savchenko disrupted the consideration of defense budget for 2017, SSSU report on Ukraine’s information space protection measures under the conditions of aggression as well as the issue of expansion of sanctions against Russia.
In this regard, People’s Front Deputy Yurii Bereza declared about Savchenko’s unsuitable conduct, reproaching her for PR.
Committee Director Sergey Pashinskii assigned to prepare the draft request to the State Security Service of Ukraine on verification of Savchenko’s contacts with separatists from the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR, the press-office of People’s Front reports.
During the verification, the committee suggests suspending Savchenko’s access to state secrets.
