Official also resigns from the post of Minister of Justice
Minister of Justice of Ukraine Oleksandr Lavrynovych took the oath of the member of the High Council of Justice. Lavrynovych was sworn during a plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, reports RBC-Ukraine.
Oleksandr Lavrynovych was elected a member of the HCJ by quota the Parliament's on July 2. Judges Volodymyr Kolesnychenko and Vitali Kuzmyshyn were also elected members of the High Council of Justice and took the oath during yesterday's plenary session.
In addition, O.Lavrynovych submitted a letter of resignation from the post of the Minister of Justice when negotiating his HCJ candidacy.
