The enforcement service cancels its decision about seizure of property of Chairman of the Management Board of Ukrlandfarming and Beneficiary Owner of insolvent VAB and Financial Initiative banks Oleg Bakhmatiuk, the businessperson’s press-office reported to Interfax-Ukraine.
“From the beginning, we spoke about the unlawfulness of such decision. Such actions are exclusively aimed at destabilization of the company, in which more than 37 ths people work”, as quoted in Bakhmatiuk’s message.
On May 12, NBU press-office reported that the Pecherskyi District Court in Kyiv satisfied NBU claim and seized all movable and immovable property, belonging to Bakhmatiuk.
Later, the businessperson’s press-office reported that distributed information on seizure of property, amounting UAH 4 bln, is not true.
On September 27, the Kyiv Appellate Court rejected NBU appeal and upheld the ruling of Pecherskyi District Court in Kyiv from May 26 on cancellation of seizure of Bakhmatiuk’s property.
Ukrlandfarming is the largest agricultural holding in the Eurasia. It specializes in grain growing, egg production, cattle breeding, and distribution of equipment, fertilizers and seeds.
