EU withdraws €70 of allocated financial aid to Ukraine
European Union Ukraine informed of withdrawing €70 million allocated to support reforms in public administration, reports Kommersant-Ukraine
«The money is lost for good», admitted the government officials.
It is also reported that Kyiv and Brussels are preparing to resume budget support, frozen in 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers has agreed to initiate a reform of the management of state finances, following which the EU could unlock some €100 million allocated to Ukraine earlier. This will also help complete negotiations on the new programs worth over €150 million.
