State Financial Inspection further decreases the number of checks
Between January and June 2013 government financial inspectors and auditors conducted 3490 control measures. Over the same period in 2012 and 2011, the figures were 5464 and 6687, reports the press service of the State Financial Inspection.
Chairman of the State Financial Inspection Petro Andreiev explains the decrease in the number of control measures by deregulation and reduced fiscal pressure on businesses.
With overall decrease from early 2013 in the number of control measures by more than 36%, volumes of detected losses decreased marginally: from 2.3 billion UAH for 6 months in 2012 to 2.1 billion UAH in January-June 2013.
Greater efficiency in government financial inspectors was achieved largely by ensuring that the control measures are taken towards riskier objects.
During interaction with law enforcement in 2010 experts of State financial Inspectorate on appeal of law enforcement conducted 2.6 thousand audits, in 2011 - 2.2 thousand checks, and in 2012 - 1.4 thousand checks.
