Ukrtransgas has not officially announced about that yet.
The Supervisory Board of Naftogaz decided to dismiss President of Ukrtransgas Igor Prokopiv. According to information from the newspaper Mirror of the Week, it has not been officially announced yet, Correspondent.net reports.
“All recent sessions of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC were related to the situation, existing in Ukrtransgas PJSC, the operator of Ukrainian gas transportation system (GTS). In particular, on March 13-14, the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz did not approve the financial plan of Ukrtransgas, sending it for revision and improvement”, - according to the message.
According to sources, it became one more proof that the Management Board of Naftogaz is determined to entrust the new chairman of Ukrtransgas with the obligation to fulfill the financial plan.
As Correspondent.net reported, on February 17, Naftogaz dismissed President of Ukrtransgas Igor Prokopiv from office. Such decision was passed by the Management Board and approved by the Supervisory Board of NJSC.
Such decision was connected with the fact that the auditor found several violations during the official examination of accounts of Ukrtransgas.
First Vice President of Ukrtransgas Miroslav Khimko assumed management of the company.
