The fine was imposed for manipulations with interest rates, Correspondent.net reports.
The court of Connecticut obligated Deutsche Bank to pay one more fine –for manipulations with interest rates this time. The Deustche Bank Group Service, headquartered in London, should pay US authorities 150 US dollars.
In April 2015, the subsidiary company of the largest German bank already agreed with the judgment fine due to illegal actions at LIBOR rates (London interbank offered rates). The fine, imposed on Deutsche Bank, was then the record amount of USD 2.5 bln.
It became known about the manipulations with LIBOR and EURIBOR rates (European interbank offered rates) in 2012. Due to similar violations, the large fines were also imposed on several other large banks on US and UK territory: except for Deutsche Bank, the fines were also imposed on Barclays, Radobank and others.
It should be reminded that Deutsche Bank will pay the fine, amounting to 630 million dollars for illegal scheme of withdrawal of 10 billion dollars from Russia.
