Payers registered with the Single Register of Individuals

27.25 thousand foreigners are expecting to receive revenues in Ukraine, the number of Revenue in Ukraine plan to 27.25 thousand foreigners. That's the number of foreign nationals registered in the Single Register of individuals during the seven months of 2013, as reported by the Ministry of Revenues’ press service.

According to the Ministry’s statistics, a monthly number of foreigners wanting to obtain a taxpayer's registration number is 3 thousand persons on average. Overall, January to July 2013 351.98 thousand people were registered in the State Register with the total number of registered persons amounting to approximately 44.6 million at 1 August 2013.

Registration numbers can be obtained in tax inspectorates (Ministry of Revenues’ territorial bodies) and at taxpayer service centers, not only at the place of residence but also at the place of income etc. However, please be informed that for registration in the State Register foreign citizens and stateless persons should apply directly to the Head offices of Ministry of Revenues in the Crimean AR, regions, Kyiv and Sevastopol.

Individuals may choose to abandon their registration number. The Ministry’s employees then make a corresponding note in the payer’s passport, and they may make payments using their passport series and number. These individual taxpayers are accounted for in a separate register with the State Register by their last name, first name, patronymic and passport serial number.

Also remember that in the event of a change in the accounting data entered into the State Register of Individuals (such as passport number or place of residence), the payer shall within one month inform territorial bodies of the Ministry of Revenues for appropriate changes.
