Decree approved
28 August the draft decree «On Approving the Concept of the National Program for small and medium entrepreneurship in 2014-2024» was approved at the Government sitting, the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship Development reports.
The above concept is designed considering best practices in trends and support measures within the National Program for promotion of small business and the need to address and resolve issues that hinder business development.
Obstacles to the development of small and medium entrepreneurship include:
limited financial resources of SMEs for implementation of investment projects and business projects designed to increase production capacity and create jobs;
existence of administrative barriers, particularly as regards permitting (conciliation) procedures, certification and standardization of goods and services, state supervision (control) of economic activities;
lack of adequate support for SMEs in part of information, advisory and methodological support of business.
