EU Committee fully supports Ukraine in trade conflict with Russia
European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs held an emergency meeting to discuss trade disputes between Russia and Ukraine, and their implications for potential signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. At the meeting Ukraine was represented by Arseniy Yatseniuk and Vitali Klitschko, BBC-Ukraine reports.
EP Committee on Foreign Affairs has supported Ukraine in trade conflict with Russia.
In this regard the European Parliament has decided to state this during the Group of Twenty (G20) summit in St. Petersburg, and adopt a resolution in support of Ukraine.
During the emergency meeting, almost all members of the committee, who participated in the discussion, sided with Ukraine in trade confrontation, and disproved Russia’s economic sanctions.
MEPs decided to request to the leaders EU to raise the issue of Russia's trade aggression at the next G20 summit in St. Petersburg.
