The parliament, as the institution, representing the interest of citizens, is being discredited. Because the presidential initiative on lifting the immunity is aimed at destroying the Verkhovna Rada and its perception in the Ukrainian society, Chairman of Public Lustration Committee LLC Sasha Drik told on the air of the TV channel ZIK.
“We need to understand that the presidential initiative on lifting the immunity is aimed at destroying the Parliament and its perception as the institution, representing the interests of citizens. In order to focus all attention on the President – the man, who initiates good things, but which the “incapable” and such “bad” Verkhovna Rada does not want to accept”, Drik commented.
She consider that the return of former regionals to the media space is also beneficial for the President of Ukraine.
“The authorities attempt to destroy everything, what started from Euromaidan, by returning all former regionals to TV screens in various talk shows, when they start telling how bad our authorities are, and they need to be replaced. It is such a new technology”, Drik noted.
