Avakov wants to introduce criminal responsibility for disclosure.
Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov proposes introducing criminal responsibility for promulgation of material from the crime scene, according to MIA’s official website, Correspondent.net reports.
As is noted, the Minister of Internal Affairs proposed forbidding law enforcement officers to disclose materials from crime scenes without investigator’s permission.
This permission will be obtained only under a special tight procedure, he added.

“The search, as the element of investigative actions, should be exclusively an instrument of investigation, but not an instrument of discrediting or pressure”, he added.
It should be reminded that the law enforcement officers conducted 19 searches as part of investigation of the case on illegal alienation of communal properties of Kyiv’s territorial community that resulted in losses for more than UAH 500 mln.
