The National Police and Microsoft signed the Memorandum of Cooperation.
The company will help the police to create a “nucleus” of workers, responsible for information security, Correspondent.net reports.
Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine Constantine Bushuev and CEO of Microsoft Ukraine Nadezhda Vasylieva signed the Memorandum of Cooperation in information security and cybersecurity, the press office of the agency reports.
“Such cooperation will help you in building integrated solutions of technical support of our activities within the country, application of innovations in state governance as well as the optimization of the existing resource for decreasing influence of the human factor on police activities”, Bushuev noted.
At the meeting, they also discussed the creation and modernization of information infrastructure, ensuring automation, transparency and controllability of internal processes.
It should be reminded that in early November, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the law about the main principles of cybersecurity.
