The searches were conducted as part of the proceeding on embezzlements during the European Football Championships.
The former director of the State Company “Olimpiiskiy NSC” was served with suspicion on embezzlement during the organization of the football championships Euro-2012, General Prosecutor Yuri Lutsenko informed in Facebook, Correspondent.net reports.
“As part of the proceeding of Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office and SSSU on embezzlement during Euro-2012, the searches were conducted and the suspicions were served to the former director of Olimpiiskiy NSC, general director of the firm – contractor and director of the intermediary structure”, Lutsenko wrote.
According to the General Prosecutor, the amount of losses just from the procurement of seats for the stadium in 2011 is UAH 27 mln.
It should be reminded that the suspicion on inflicting damages, totaling UAH 5 mln, during the procurement of seats for the national sport complex “Olimpiiskiy” was served to the contracting company.
