The administration of the Republican Party in the House of Representatives agreed to place on the agenda the draft law on strengthening U.S. and Ukraine cooperation in cybersecurity, Voice of America said.
The author of the draft law is Congressman and Republican Brendan Boyle, he registered it in the last year.
“I am glad that the administration of the Republican party in the House of Representatives agreed to place on the agenda the voting for my draft law, which is supported by both parties and will help Ukraine to protect is cybersecurity from Russian aggression”, Boyle wrote in Twitter.
In order the law comes into force, it should be approved by the House of Representatives, the Senate and signed by U.S. President.
