According to the people’s deputy Taruta, NBU Governor caused indirect damages to Ukrainian economy for 1 trillion hryvnias and direct – for 5 bln dollars.
During his interview with ZIK, the people’s deputy Sergei Taruta said on the fact that NBU Governor Valeria Gontareva caused indirect damages for 1 trillion hryvnias, UA1 reports.
“There are very many facts, corroborating the acts of corruption, committed by Gontareva. According to my estimates, from 3.5 to 5 bln dollars were withdrawn from the country – and they belong not to the banks, but to Ukrainian taxpayers. And it refers not to the direct losses. Because if we speak about the Deposit Insurance Fund and indirect losses, the country lost about one trillion of hryvnias”, according to the statement.
In the meantime, he emphasized: it is very simple to prove that Gontareva withdrew money from the country, “it depends only on the desire to return these money to Ukraine” – “Not like it was with the funds of Yanukovich and his surrounds, when at first, the cash and gold were transported by echelons, and then they want to catch them somehow in Ukraine”.
