Austria’s experience can be useful in development and improvement of road infrastructure of Kyiv, Deputy Chairman of KSCA Dmitri Davtyan said after the meeting with members of the management board of Strabag AG companies, Ukrainian News reports.
“We actively repair and build roads in Kyiv. Of course, we have many roads, which require prompt and planned repair; we want to, at least, keep gained pace. It also means that we will actively study the experience of leading countries and companies in order to use it in Ukraine”, Dmitri Davtyan told.
According to him, Austrian companies can be useful, taking into account their achievements in creating and maintaining roads in megalopolises.
“Of course, it is the quality of road surfaces, markings and optimization of traffic streams – all of that showed themselves as qualitative and actual and should be applied in Kyiv”, Dmitri Davtyan assures.
He does not exclude the possibility of participation of Austria’s leaders of road sphere in the works on capital roads.
“Now, we are just getting acquainted – they are interested in our roads, junctions, bridges, and we – how they managed to increase the transport stream and prolong the road maintenance time. That is, it is the experience, which is actual and surely needed in the road field of Kyiv”, Deputy Chairman of KSCA assures.
