Today, the activities of the investigative and operational units of the Ministry of revenue is focused on working with databases and analytical information systems without the actual intervention in economic activities of entrepreneurs. This was stated by Chief of Investigation Department of Financial Investigation of the Ministry of revenue Anatolii Yakovynets, the press service of the Ministry informs.
According to the head of the Central Investigation Department of Financial Investigations, no one is under custody on those criminal proceedings being investigated by investigators of revenue and duties. 12 times less people than last year are arrested on suspicion of having committed a crime, all were bailed out, the total amount of which is 6 times more than in the same period last year.
The effectiveness of the investigative units of the Ministry of revenue has increased. Although the same amount of cases proceedings as in the last year or the year before last will go to court, the effective use of incentive rules on exemption from criminal liability in full compensation for losses to the state budget resulted in 1.5 times increase in voluntary compensation on proceedings for tax evasion, and nearly 20 percent increase for all damages on the proceedings sent to the court.
