The President has signed the Law of Ukraine on Introduction of Amendments to Paragraph 24 of Section VI “Final and Transitional Provisions” of the Budgetary Code of Ukraine dd. 6 October 2015 № 714-VIII, the presidential press-service reports.
“This law regulates the possibility to use balance of funds of local budgets of towns, located on the occupied territories, for reconstruction of facilities of social and transport infrastructure, housing fund and life support systems, including their support, on the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and for social and economic development of corresponding regions through temporary attraction of such funds and their deployment as a subvention to regional budgets of Donetsk and Luhansk regions accordingly”, as said in the message.
The law will allow to ensure the efficient use of available financial resources and will further the soonest reconstruction of facilities of infrastructure, housing fund and life support systems, which were damaged and destroyed during anti-terrorist operations , on the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
