The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine simplifies control at border for organized tourist groups
«The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is implementing border controls for organized tourist groups in priority order. Registration will be in automobile checkpoints on separate lanes» - said the Deputy Head of Border Control and registration Alexander Zhdanenko.
He said that for this matter tour operators (travel agents), other business entities and individuals, not later than 24 hours before the bus arrival at checkpoint, which is planned to cross the border, shall send an e-mail messages. It should contain information about organizer of international transportation of tourists, the route, date and estimated time of arrival at checkpoint and others. This notification must also attach a list of passengers with certain information.
Upon receipt of notice, the checkpoint will answer travel agent in two hours, with information on: the most convenient time for bus arrival at checkpoint; lane where border control is carried out for organized group. Upon arrival at the checkpoint verification of documents is held on the bus at a simplified procedure.

Let’s recall that Ministry of income and charges Ukraine predicted increase in passenger traffic through Ukrainian border by 2.5 times from the beginning of holiday season.
