Stock indexes fell down
On Monday, December 30, European stocks turned lower. Trading volumes were thin as many investors already closed books before the end of the year. It is reported by Bloomberg.
British Stock Exchange Index (FTSE 100) fell by 0.29%;
The German stock index (DAX) fell by 0.39%;
French Stock Index (CAC 40) down 0.05%;
Spain's key stock index (IBEX) and Italy's stock index (FTSE MIB) increased marginally by 0.02% and 0.06% respectively. Investors remained cautious after European Central Bank Governing Council member Jens Weidmann warned last week against keeping interest rates low.
