Stock indexes rose
On Wednesday, January 15, major European stock indexes rose after the World Bank raised its global growth forecast. It is reported by Bloomberg.
British Stock Exchange Index (FTSE 100) rose 0.78%;
The German stock index (DAX) rose by 2.03%;
French Stock Index (CAC 40) increased by 1.35%;
Spain's key stock index (IBEX) rose by 1.38%;
Italy's stock index (FTSE MIB) rose 1.60%.
Equities strengthened after the World Bank increased its global growth forecasts, predicting the world economy will expand 3.2% this year, up from 2.4% in 2013.
