Difficult period for Spanish banks is not over
The forecast for Spain's banking sector is negative, reports Moody's Investors Service.
Analysts note that the negative outlook for Spanish banks remains since 2008, as the country has a fairly large volume of distressed assets, weak loan portfolio with banks having restricted access to market funding. In addition, the country depends heavily on the European Central Bank's financing.
