China Investment Corporation (CIC) is interested in infrastructure investment projects in Europe and the United States, says Gao Xiqing, the fund's vice chairman and president.
Gao Xiqing also noted that the corporation will invest only in "politically stable" nations, even if it would bring less profit. According to the director, Europe, at the moment is the best area for investment, as it changed the tax system to attract foreign finance.
