Japan retains status as top creditor nation for 22nd Straight Year
According to the results 2012, for the 22nd consecutive year Japan is the world's largest creditor, according to the released data.
Japan's net foreign assets, as at the end of 2012, were $ 2.9 trillion USD.
China ranked second in the list of leading creditor countries, and Germany came in third.
