Strategic relationships between Ukraine and China do not depend on third parties, Correspondent.net reports.
Ukraine and China intend to liberalize the visa regime, the press-office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports on the results of the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavel Klimkin with his Chinese colleague Wang Yi.
In particular, the parties agreed to negotiate practical steps, aimed at significant liberalization of visa regime between two states.
During the conversation the state and prospects of realization of joint infrastructure projects were also considered. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of China expressed his support of Ukraine’s participation in Chinese initiative “One zone, one way”.
The Chinese party also confirmed the support of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. The parties expressed their opinions that the strategic relationships between Ukraine and China do not depend on third parties.
It should be noted that on April 27-28 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin is having an official visit to China.
