The export gas price for the European Union in 2017 can be 180-190 dollars per one thousand cubic meters, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprom Alexander Medvedev said, RIA News reports.
The company representative noted that last year, Europe paid for the fuel 167 dollars per one thousand cubic meters on the average.
«Europe was, is and continues to be the priority market for Gazprom», Medvedev emphasized, delivering speech on the Gazprom’s Investor’s Day in Singapore.
According to him, in 2016, the Gazprom’s share increased up to 34 percent in the European market. In 2015, this indicator was 31 percent.
Medvedev also told that in 2016, the Russian company increased the volume of natural gas supplies to far abroad countries by 12.5% - more than up to 179.3 billion cubic meters, thus beating the historic high.
