U.S. NBC, quoting the sources from U.S. President Administration, reports that Donald Trump tends to cancel nuclear deal with Iran, New Time reports.
According to TV channel sources, Trump can make statement about cancellation of the deal after October 15, when the term, given for the lawyers to study the details of the agreement, expires.
In the meantime, TV channel reports that U.S. President can change his decision, if the allies, who are also the parties to the deal with Iran, influence it.
Previously U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson stated that this nuclear deal with Iran was a failure, and did not yield the desired outcome.
U.S. President Donald Trump also ordered to verify the expediency of lifting sanctions from Iran pursuant to the agreement on the Iran nuclear program, reached in 2015.
In early 2016, U.S. and EU cancelled sanctions against Iran after International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated in its report that Teheran fully stopped working in its nuclear program.
In summer 2015, the continuous negotiations between Iran and six international mediators on Teheran’s nuclear program ended successfully.
The deal of Iran and the West became the real historic event, which may change geopolitical scenarios – President of Iran Hassan Rouhani stated about his country’s refusal from intentions to obtain nuclear weapon.
However, Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei delivered a speech, in which he assumed that his country will refuse from the nuclear agreement in the future, if the “deal” does not meet the interests of his country.
In its turn, on July 20, UN Security Council unilaterally approved the resolution to support the nuclear agreement between Iran and six international mediators.
