President of Russia noted that the situation around Russian mass media in U.S. raises concern
When delivering speech at the session of Valdai Discussion Club, President of Russia Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow will do the same in case of harassment of Russian mass media in the U.S., Correspondent.net reports quoting Interfax.
“In this case, we will act reciprocally and quickly”, the Russian leader noted.
“As soon as we see concrete measures, restricting the activities of our mass media, we will apply the same measures”, he emphasized.
Putin also pointed out that the situation around Russian mass media in the U.S. raises concern and has nothing to do with democracy.
Previously, RF Minister of Foreign Affairs reported that it will undertake responsive measures against U.S. mass media, operating in Russia, if the pressure over RT Channel in U.S. continues.
