The immigrant check criteria will be tightened.
U.S. renews its refugee admission program; however, it tightens check criteria from the immigrants from 11 countries. The respective order of President Donald Trump was published on October 24, on the official website of the White House, Correspondent.net reports quoting DW.
As is noted, this program was suspended for 120 days due to the general tightening of U.S. entry rules.
The statement of the Department of Homeland Security notes that the potential refugees from the countries, posing threat the U.S. national security, will be subject to the strictest control.
It should be reminded that the suspension of refugee admission program was the part of measures for limiting the influx of migrants to U.S., which Trump promised during his election campaign and attempts to implement after entry into office.
