Obama and Clinton rank top in the Gallup's most admired man and woman poll.
Former U.S. President Barack Obama is called as the man of 2017, most admired by U.S. citizens; among women in this nomination, Former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton ranked the first, as evidenced by the poll results, Correspondent.net reports.
This is the tenth time Obama “conquers” this position, though he lost 5% of the support versus 2016. This year, he had 17%. The current President Donald Trump ranked the second – 14%, Pope Francis ranked the third – 3%.
Clinton takes the leading position for the 16th year in a row; this is the opinion of 9% of respondents, the second is the former first lady of the country Michele Obama – 7%. The third is TV presenter Oprah Winfrey.
The poll was conducted by the Gallup Institute from 4 to 11 December, 1,049 participated in it.
