In 2017, U.S. survived 16 natural cataclysms that cost the record amount for the country’s budget – USD 306 billion, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration informs, Correspondent.net reports.
It is noted that for the last year in the country, three large hurricanes, droughts, abnormal frost, large fires, eight strong storms. Since 1980, U.S. losses from 219 large natural disasters exceeded 1.5 trln dollars. 10 ths people became the victims of these disasters.
